Camelia Pîrvu is a Romanian mixed-media artist and engineer whose practice explores the relationship between material, structure and transformation. She studied ceramics at the School of Arts in Galați, where her interest in material experimentation began. Working with fiber, mosaic, glass, stone and reclaimed materials, she creates sculptural reliefs and installations that investigate the dialogue between rigid and organic structures. Her work has been exhibited in Romania and internationally, and in 2026 her work Rencontre de Matières was selected for the Prix Picassiette exhibition in Chartres, France.
