From a dance/choreographic background, with music in her DNA, graduate artist/painter Chris works from emotion, imagination and a cross-arts chromatic sensibility to make abstract music paintings.

With a fascination for the way the arts inter-relate, she responds to - and expresses - music in paint on canvas, sometimes scarily forsaking the safety of the studio to ‘performance-paint’ in-the-moment, to live music, as the music hits her ear - and often with an audience.
