'I was born on 19th February 1999, in Braniștea, Galați, Romania, as a single child. I lived my life getting to know and understand art by myself, without specialized mentoring or guidance. I didn’t even go to a vocational high school (to better study visual arts) because I was told art is not a realistic future. But getting to college, I chose to study not just letters, which I really liked, but also visual arts – painting, getting a Bachelor’s Degree in both. After a Master’s in graphic art, I started a PhD research paper in contemporary portraiture at Universitatea Națională de Arte „George Enescu” din Iași, Facultatea de Arte Vizuale și Design, Școala Doctorală Arte Vizuale, which I’ll finish this autumn, 2026. At the same time, I was hired as an university assistant at Universitatea „Dunărea de Jos” din Galați, Facultatea de Arte, section of Plastic Arts – Painting, where I’m currently teaching for the third year.'
