Cristina Bruno/ Everyday Objects

After graduating high school, Cristina Bruno first studied Digital Fabrication Design in Essen (Germany), during which her main interest was the combination of product, electronics, and modern fabrication methods. Afterwards, she continued her studies in Düsseldorf with a master's in New Craft Object Design, where she shifted her focus towards jewelry. During her studies, she had the opportunity to participate in jewellery exhibitions, e.g., in the Pop-Up event "tagD" in the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich during the Munich Jewelry week. Since 2026, she has been part of the art collective "Precious Collective".

Cristina Bruno combines the practicability and solution-driven part of classical product design with the freedom of Art. An important aspect of her work is using jewelry not only for aesthetic purposes but rather as a communicator of ideas and messages. She creates sculptural forms that incorporate practical uses and thereby creates objects that exceed a singular purpose.

"tragbar²" (engl.: wearable²), it combines everyday shopping bags with modern jewellery and aims to be both: an aesthetic accessory and a solution to a frequent problem (i.e., forgetting your shopping bag when going shopping).
