Dorotheos Antoniadis was born in a small village name Terpilos near the city of Kilkis, Greece. Studied for five years near the teacher Xristofanis Voutsinas in Thessaloniki and participated in lots of exhibitions in Thessaloniki, Athens, Mykonos and more.
"My work consists of depicting old buildings of my city and landscapes of the natural environment. I like to portray them realistically to show the reality. I am interested in capturing the sunlight the moment it falls on buildings and trees. I prefer to paint them out in nature then photographs, to capture the moment. The main materials I use are oils and acrylics on canvas, also ink and tempera."
