Bridging the gap between scientific precision and human empathy, Ellie Goodliffe creates art that gives a visual voice to the invisible. As a Quality Assurance Team Leader for a family-run brewery, Ellie’s daily life is rooted in the discipline of science—a perspective that informs her 'Illness' and 'Miserable Mushroom' series. Through these works, she explores themes of fragility, resilience, and the biological battles we face, using art to provoke conversation and foster connection.
Beyond the laboratory and the canvas, Ellie is a devoted wife, sister, and friend. Most recently, she has stepped into her most rewarding role yet: a 'mumma' to her beautiful baby boy. For Ellie, art is the essential 'pressure gauge' that balances her life; it is where her professional expertise in science meets her personal heart for her family, resulting in work that celebrates both the complexity of the human body and the strength of the human spirit.
