Emaan Pirzada/ Spring Issue

Emaan Pirzada is a visual artist and miniature painter based in Bristol, UK. She graduated with honours in Fine Arts from the National College of Arts, Rawalpindi (2021), specialising in traditional miniature painting. Her practice explores how environments and architecture shape memory and identity, examining the relationship between space and emotion. Her work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions across Pakistan, South Korea, the UAE and the UK, including the London Art Biennale (2025). In 2019, she worked as an Arts & Craft Instructor at Heroes Nursery and Preschool in Cairo. Following graduation, Pirzada volunteered with MEF International Schools in Istanbul before joining Satrang Gallery at Serena Hotel, Islamabad, as an Assistant Curator (2021–2022). She later served as Project Manager at Foundation Art Divvy (2022–2025), supporting international exhibitions, residencies, and research initiatives. She was shortlisted for The Arts Family London Emerging Artist Award (2023) and has undertaken residencies at DRAW International, France (2023) and Jelly Studios, Reading (2024).
