Eugene Laguten/ 3D Art

Eugene Laguten is a contemporary sculptor based in Sofia, Bulgaria. He studied Sculpture at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts in Minsk and Finance at South-West University “Neofit Rilski” in Blagoevgrad. He further specialized in the studio of renowned Bulgarian sculptor Stavri Kalinov.

Laguten works across small-scale sculpture, easel sculpture, park sculpture, and public art. His practice focuses primarily on bronze and brass, while also experimenting with glass and ceramics. Through elongated abstract figures and dynamic spatial compositions, his work explores movement, rhythm, human connection, and emotional resonance.

Always in search of the perfect form, he is captivated by the magic of man and nature. His sculptural language is characterized by elongated figures, fluid movement, expressive abstraction, and rhythmic spatial compositions that balance fragility with strength.

His sculptures are part of prestigious private collections in Europe, Israel, Australia, the United States, and beyond. He has been featured in the collector’s edition “100 Artists of Europe” and has participated in international exhibitions and art fairs including Art Basel Miami and Paris, Carrousel du Louvre, Discovery Art Fair Frankfurt, IAAF Izmir Art Fair, and Thompson Gallery in Zug.
