Puerto Rican composer, whose music drives an experimental mindset, treating traditional structures as a starting point rather than a boundary — pushing at their edges to create work that feels novel and unmistakably his own. Rodríguez is the selected composer for the MIFA Victory Players' 2026–2027 Composer Residency and the Miller Symphony Hall's 2026 New Music Chamber Series. His recent work has been presented at Vienna's Organon Symposium on Enharmonic Interfaces for Keyboard Instruments, the MUSLAB/Mantra electroacoustic exhibition in Quito, Ecuador, La Hora Acusmática in Córdoba, Argentina, and the Allentown Symphony's Chamber Music Series. His music has also been performed by the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra, Lumina String Quartet, JM Jazz World Orchestra, and at Lincoln Center in New York. He is a recipient of the ASCAP Henry Mancini Music Fellowship (2013) and the Elmer Bernstein Award in Film Scoring (2008), and was selected for the ASCAP/Columbia Film Scoring Workshop.
