Hannah Feuerstein/ Women Art

Born in Cardiff 1998, Hannah Feuerstein grew up between Denmark and Germany. Her childhood is heavily influenced by the strong women in her life, her grandmothers, and her mother. After graduating from Highschool in 2016 Hannah moved to Scotland to work as an Au-Pair. Inspired by the vivid art community and the stunning ever changing landscape Hannah decided to stay, first to do a Portfolio course in Ullapool ,then to study fine Art and Philosophy in Dundee. Her studies introduced the texts of thinkers such as Donna Haraway, Bernard Stiegler and Ursula K. Le Guin into her practice. Working with a wide variety of mediums, from ceramics to metalwork, Hannahs biggest fascination is intaglio printmaking and the beauty of creating an image that doesn’t sit on top of, but in the paper. After graduating Hannah leaves University to set up an art studio in Torridon in the Scottish Highlands, primarily focusing on electro – etching, a safe and sustainable way of etching.
