Imara is a Swiss multidisciplinary artist working across photography, stained glass, publishing, and radio. Her practice is rooted in lived experience and explores what remains invisible, unspoken, or exclud-ed from dominant narratives. Through self-portraiture, documentary methods, craft, and collaborative projects, she investigates labor, intimacy, memory, and the transmission of knowledge within marginalized communities. Her work seeks not to speak on behalf of others, but to create forms through which overlooked ex-perriences can speak for themselves. Moving between artistic research and collective archives, she develops projects that transform per-sonal and shared histories into visual, audio, and editorial forms.
