John Barben is a contemporary photographer whose practice centres on crafting narrative-driven image series. With an acute attention to detail, his work explores themes of time, memory, and place—encouraging quiet reflection through carefully composed sequences. Based in Cheltenham, England, John's photography is gaining recognition through emerging exhibitions and self-published photobooks. Influenced by the likes of Greg Halpern, Todd Hido, Stephen Shore, and Gregory Crewdson, he is steadily building a body of work that documents and interprets the evolving landscape of contemporary Britain.
