Kenneth Henckel is an artist based in Copenhagen who began dedicating himself seriously to painting fourteen years ago. Deeply committed to his artistic practice, he describes art as something he lives and breathes. Over the years, Henckel has also worked with photography, video art, and graphic design, expanding his visual language across multiple media. He has exhibited in galleries in Denmark, but in recent years, he has increasingly focused on presenting his work internationally, where he feels there is growing interest in his practice. His work has appeared in virtual exhibitions and has been featured in several art magazines through interviews and published artworks. Most recently, Henckel has exhibited at Galleri Verso in Stockholm, Gallery Heike Arndt in Berlin, and Indra Gallery in London.

Henckel primarily paints in oil on canvas, though he has also explored pastel in some of his works. His drawings are created using pencil, charcoal, chalk, and pastel, and more recently, he has developed a growing interest in watercolor. In his artistic practice, Henckel creates paintings that are often confrontational and intended to challenge the viewer, sometimes provoking debate. He finds it particularly fascinating how differently a painting can be interpreted depending on the individual standing before it. His works combine reflections on the surrounding world with personal thoughts and states of mind, often accompanied by a subtle sense of humor.
