Kristýna Erbenová/ Silenced

Born in 1987 in the Czech Republic, Kristýna Erbenová graduated from the Institute of Creative Photography at the Silesian University in Opava. Working exclusively at night under moonlight, she creates her evocative artistic projects using medium format and 35mm photographic film. She currently lives and works in Australia.

Erbenová has held numerous solo and group exhibitions across Europe and Australia. Her work has been featured in major European photographic festivals and widely published in the professional press. In 2019 and 2020, she was named a finalist in Sydney’s Head On Photo Festival, as well as the prestigious Hariban Award in Japan. Her photography was also selected for the talent publication Fresh Eyes, celebrating her among the Top 100 Emerging Photographers in Europe. Kristýna Erbenová's work is represented in both private and regional gallery collections in the Czech Republic and internationally.
