Li Yifan is a Chinese artist currently based in Leeds. Yifan graduated from the Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts with a degree in photography and is currently studying at MA Fine Art at the University of Leeds. He works mainly with photography, sculpture, digital art and installation. His early studies in photography and military experience led him to develop a keen interest in social events, human relationships and geopolitics. He has long been committed to excavating the realities and frameworks of the current world, and the positioning and reflection of individual social roles within the realist ideological order, exploring the pressing issues facing humanity in the current and future realities of space.
