Mara Arts/ Everyday Objects

Mara Arts is a Dutch artist and material-driven designer, educated in Engineering: Product Design in Amsterdam. Her graduation project focused on material research, developing acoustic objects from natural and recycled resources. Over the past decade, she has worked across art, design, and circular material innovation, specializing in textile and plastic waste streams. This experience continues to shape her artistic practice, where reclaimed, natural, and biobased materials are transformed into tactile surfaces and wall-based sculptures. Through material experimentation, she explores memory, value, and the shifting relationship between objects, materials, and everyday life. She is currently based in the United States.
