Marco Molteni/ Music

Marco Molteni studied composition with Luciano Chailly and Giuseppe Giuliano at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan, graduating in 1985. In the same institute he then studied electronic music with Riccardo Sinigaglia, graduating with full marks in 1988. In 1983 and 1984 he attended the postgraduate courses in composition held by Franco Donatoni at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena and the French MC2 Musique Contemporaine in Avignon. In 1985 he attended the Atelier de Recherche Instrumental organized by Pierre Yves Artaud at Ircam in Paris. From 1986 to 1994 he took part in the Ferienkurse fur Neue Musik in Darmstadt. His music has been rewarded and recognized in important international competitions and played in several contemporary music Festivals all over the world. His music has been broadcasted by Radio France, RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana, ABC Sidney, CBC Toronto ecc. and it is published by Universal Edition Wien and Ars Publica.
