Marion Heres/ Large-Scale Paintings

Marion Heres is a multidisciplinary Dutch artist with a background in medicine. Before dedicating herself fully to art, she worked as a gynaecologist, researcher and healthcare leader, experiences that continue to inform her artistic practice. Her work focuses on themes of exclusion, memory, identity and resilience, often creating immersive environments that make hidden structures visible. Through HeresAndHolti, she develops projects that explore the spaces between what is seen and unseen, heard and unheard.
