Marwah Waqar/ Abandoned

Marwah Waqar is a visual artist born and raised in Haripur, Hazara, KPK. Growing up within the cultural landscape of the Hazara-waal community continues to shape the emotional sensitivity and layered narratives present in her work. Her practice explores memory, its fleeting nature, and how positive experiences are often overtaken by emotional residue and loss. Through tactile surfaces and experimental layered -based processes, she investigates intimacy, absence, and emotional reconstruction.
