Monica Ragno is an Italian architect and artist practicing professionally in Genoa. Whether dealing with forgotten fragments, industrial waste, or construction components, the artist redeems these forms to explore their latent potential. Their work distances itself from the superficial condemnation of waste, recognizing within common elements a possibility of solemn beauty and structure. Suspensions, structural bonds, and chromatic interlocks thus create salvation, embraces, and profound states of mind. This approach grants wounded or fragmented matter a new possibility of survival and novel geometric and emotional equilibria.
