Mónica Casanegra/ The Palette of Place
Mónica Casanegra Morelli is an architect and visual artist. Her practice unfolds at the intersection of built space and artistic expression. Her work proposes a dialogue between architecture and art, exploring how matter, form, and perception can expand beyond their traditional boundaries. Her work has been selected for competitions and exhibitions in spaces such as the Chilean-German League, Galería Espacio en Tránsito (Factoría Franklin), the Las Condes Cultural Center (Our Artists Exhibition), the Anáhuac Cultural Center in Santiago, and the Liquén Cultural Center in Villarrica, solidifying an artistic practice in constant development. Through watercolor, collage, and other media, her work investigates the relationship between order and chaos, structure and fluidity, reflecting an architectural sensibility that translates into painting. Currently, she continues to expand her creative language through personal and professional projects, building her own vision within the world of architecture and art.
