Nadia Baz (Bazazyants)/ Icons of Life

Nadia Baz (Bazazyants) is a figurative painter based in Israel. Born in Moscow, she received a higher education in art and has worked as an artist, designer, and educator. Her work has been exhibited in Russia and Israel. Working primarily in oil on canvas, she explores themes of memory, personal history, and cultural identity through the human figure. Her paintings draw on family histories, migration, and the ways private lives intersect with larger historical events. Rather than documenting specific moments, she creates visual spaces where memory, imagination, and lived experience coexist. Nadia is currently preparing her first solo exhibition in Israel while continuing to develop new bodies of work.
