Natalia Babych/ Silenced

Natalia Babych is a ceramic artist working with porcelain. Originally from Ukraine, she relocated to Edinburgh in 2022, making functional and artistic pieces inspired by nature and the delicacy of the material.

Since January 2025 she has been based at Leith Makers studios, hosting porcelain masterclasses for Ukrainian and local communities. An alumna of Abandoned Artists and member of Visual Arts Scotland, her recent exhibitions include LAND, Waiting to Exhale, Pass the Remote, and Future Folklore at the Maclaurin Art Gallery. From September 2026 she joins Leith School of Art to study Contemporary Art Practice.
