Nazanin Ghahramani/ Silenced

Nazanin Ghahramani is an Iranian visual artist based in the UK, working at the intersection of art and sociology. Her practice explores questions of identity, self-formation, and the structures of domestic life and space. She is particularly interested in the everyday acts and routines that shape identity, investigating how it is continuously negotiated within both the home and the public sphere.

With a background in both art and architecture, Ghahramani holds an MFA in Painting, as well as a B.Eng. and an MA in Architecture. Working across drawing, painting, printmaking, 3D modelling, and digital fabrication, she combines artistic and architectural approaches to examine the relationship between personal experience, social structures, and the spaces we inhabit.
