Nino is a contemporary self-taught multimedia artist whose creative practice investigates internal psychology, existential thresholds, and structural disconnection. Deeply engaged with academic perspectives and philosophical concepts of transformation, she translates complex conceptual ideas into highly visceral visual expressions. Her work focuses on the raw, unshielded realities of environments and human absence, utilizing stark black-and-white photography to capture the fluid boundaries of history, identity, and memory. By exploring architectural decay and forgotten landscapes, Nino’s multidisciplinary approach seeks to capture the subtle friction between structured human design and the inevitable passage of time, consistently striving to establish a shared, profound space of honest reflection for the audience.

‘’My photographic practice focuses on the quiet dissonance of forgotten spaces, capturing the emotional and structural weight of isolation. Through the series "Abandoned," I investigate the thresholds between past utility and present decay. Moving away from mere documentation, my work treats these derelict, brutalist, and unfinished architectural structures as physical manifestations of human absence and psychological suspension. Using stark black-and-white contrasts, hard geometric lines, and shifting natural light, I aim to expose the poetic emptiness of places left behind. Each frame serves as an interrogation of time, where concrete pillars and encroaching nature form a silent narrative of neglect and endurance. Ultimately, this series seeks to transform neglected architecture into a shared space for introspection, inviting the viewer to confront the raw, uncomfortable beauty of spaces that exist in a state of permanent transition.’’
