Sepideh Shahgholi/ Childhood

Sepideh Shahgholi is a UK-based visual artist with a Master’s degree in Visual Communication from the University of Salford. Her practice is rooted in experimentation and the exploration of diverse materials and techniques.

She works across a wide range of media, including oil paint, acrylic, pastel, and other materials, creating works on canvas as well as on alternative surfaces. Sepideh has a strong interest in mixed media, where the layering and combination of different materials play a central role in her visual language.

Alongside her two-dimensional works, she also explores three-dimensional practices and creates sculptural forms. Her work reflects an ongoing investigation into materiality, texture, and form, with a focus on expanding ideas beyond traditional boundaries and developing a distinctive, personal artistic approach.
