Simone Frabboni blends worlds: echoes of Renaissance and Gothic art, inspirations from street culture, and indigenous peoples’ visions. Native ornamental cultures first drew him to jewelry, handcrafted knives, and other unique pieces. His conviction is simple: every everyday object carries an inner value. Every day can be art, something mass production has forgotten, but urban subcultures – like skateboarding – still know and communicate. In his research, he looks for an instinctive process, a childlike spirit. Wonder and authenticity guide him, disciplined by real craftsmanship. He sees his work like his personal Wunderkammer, where he collects natural specimens, tracks of art, street style, fashion, and design, all mixed with irony.
