Xinyu Huang is a Chinese artist based in Scotland and a practice-based PhD researcher at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, University of Dundee. Working primarily with analogue photography, her photography-based practice extends across moving image, installation, and material experimentation. She received her Master's degree from the Glasgow School of Art, where she further developed an interdisciplinary approach to photographic practice. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at PhotoMonth London and PHOTOFAIRS Shanghai, as well as in exhibitions in Paris, Glasgow, and Beijing. Through both artistic practice and academic research, she continues to investigate the material and perceptual possibilities of photography across contemporary art contexts.
