Yiyi Song is a ceramic and mixed-media artist based in London. Graduated from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, her practice emerges from a long-term exploration of body, memory, and domestic intimacy. Working primarily with hand-built clay forms, she integrates cracks, glazes, and ornamental language to trace emotional and sensory experiences embedded in everyday vessels. Song’s work often reflects on female experience, material perception, and the subtle dialogues between care and resilience. With a background in fashion design, she brings tactile sensitivity into her sculptural process, transforming material into a vessel of remembrance and presence. Her recent works have been exhibited in London and other international exhibitions across Europe and Asia. Currently, she is developing the project Vessels in Migration, exploring the gentle yet powerful connections between craft and narrative.
