Atiyya Mirza is an Art student at Bradford School of Art. My specialism is a mixture of textiles, drawing, and mixed media. She enjoys creating abstract objects and figures. With the Limitations of Knots textile sculpture, she was able to explore and create different types of figures by connecting and making knots with the stuffed calico fabric.
Limitation of Knots, 2022 Calico fabric and pillow stuffing Limitation of Knots Is a textile sculpture constructed with different lengths of stuffed fabric, The tying and knotting up becomes one figure and creates the idea of being tied up suggesting being restrained of thoughts.
