Becky Edmunds/ Book Edition

Becky Edmunds is a former dancer and choreographer turned filmmaker who also has a textile arts practice focused on hand embroidery. Since 1988, she has created live art, short films, installations, and participatory events. Recent works include Do Not Wash, a textile piece inviting participants to embed their DNA in fabric; Those Forgotten, an exhibition of discarded photographs embellished with embroidery; The Listening, a series of audio stories drawn from oral history interviews; and To Be Continued, a web series based on journals found in a pile of rubbish.
