luma:ratio is an audiovisual project by Carlos Bernal, a Manchester-based artist and motion designer. With over a decade of experience, he creates interactive installations, video mapping, and light sculptures that explore how light transforms space and perception. Originally from Valencia, Carlos honed his craft in Paris through an artistic exchange, later moving to Manchester where he began performing visuals in clubs. His work now spans festivals across the UK and Europe. Balancing audiovisual installations and motion graphics, Carlos seeks to evoke strong emotional responses through light and projection: “My aim is to not leave anyone indifferent.”
