Caroline is a photographer based in Yorkshire, England. She has always been fascinated by photography, and the first photograph she remembers taking was with her father’s camera — a very shaky image that marked the beginning of her creative journey. Over the years, she progressed from a Kodak Pocket Instamatic, through a series of point-and-shoot cameras, to her first serious camera, an Olympus OM10, which she received as a gift for her 21st birthday. The transition to digital photography and Canon cameras became a turning point in her practice, and she began to pursue photography more seriously after taking an online course in 2018.
Caroline is deeply inspired by the world around her, with a particular love for woodland, flowers, and intimate landscapes. Being behind the lens allows her to slow down and truly see her surroundings. Her passion lies in creative photography, often using techniques such as soft focus, multiple exposures, and image blending to craft unique pieces of art. She frequently incorporates textures, patterns, and colors to transform a single image, embracing the unpredictable journey of creation. For Caroline, the process is as rewarding as the final result, filled with discovery, excitement, and a deepened connection to the natural world.
