House of Frisson/ Book Edition

House of Frisson is the artistic universe of London‑based Brazilian artist Luciano Rocha. Working primarily with paper collage on reclaimed ceramic plates, Frisson transforms vintage porcelain figures, dolls and domestic ornaments into characters that speak, with sharp humour, social critique or unexpected tenderness. House of Frisson also develops digital collage works for greeting cards and small prints, expanding the same narrative universe across formats. Blending queer aesthetics, pop‑surreal theatricality and a soft hauntological sensibility, Frisson creates a world where beauty and discomfort coexist, where nostalgia becomes subversive, and where the decorative becomes political.
