My oil paintings are deeply intertwined with my lifestyle and professional journey. Having spent two decades working as a designer in an increasingly virtual world, I experienced a profound exhaustion from the digital screen. My art is a conscious decision to disconnect from computers and phones in order to rediscover the tangible reality around us—human faces, the delicacy of flowers, and everyday objects.

I prefer painting on a dark background, which naturally emphasizes the forms and makes the subjects vividly stand out. While this technique may recall classical traditions, it is not an attempt to imitate the Old Masters, though I deeply admire their craftsmanship. Instead, it is a search for quietude, silence, and a thoughtful, meditative gaze at the non-digital world. Through oil on canvas, I capture the physical presence and calm essence of the reality we so often overlook.
