Monochromatic Dialogue/ Group Exhibition
In collaboration, Collect Art Gallery and N9 Gallery present the group exhibition ‘Monochromatic Dialogue’.
In reality, the universe has no color. Neither the sky nor the sea is blue. Nor is the rainbow colorful until human eyes gaze upon it. Space is filled with sunlight, yet it remains dark. For light to become visible, it must touch a surface and reflect off it. Our eyes measure the wavelength and frequency of this light, convert this data into electrical signals, and send them to the brain. The brain then "translates" this code into colors. It is consciousness itself that paints these dry mathematical formulas, transforming them into a living illusion. It turns out that humanity exists for creation, and the universe is dull without us. Without humans, it is merely a collection of physical processes. For generations, art has explored this dialogue between light and matter. Modern technology has significantly expanded the horizon of these inquiries. The black-and-white works presented in our multimedia exhibition invite the viewer not as a passive observer, but to pass them through the filter of their own perception - to color them just as they color the world every day, thereby bestowing upon them emotional and aesthetic value.
