Kelsey Amara attended William Jewell College undergraduate and briefly USC and graduated from Art Center College of Design with an MFA. She has over 13 years of experience in film becoming interested in storytelling including publishing a novel researched on location in Kolkata, India themed on aid work activism and social class. She has taught at the University of Kansas City Missouri and resides in Los Angeles. Amara began experimenting and merging the art of poetry with different large-scale writing styles. She explores the human condition through her poetry working with themes such as freedom and responsibility.
