Traditionally, focuses on the face, but nowadays it can be abstract as well, it comes in a variety of styles, from lifestyle to classic and they can include not only a face but the entire body with the background. Since its primary focus is a human subject, it has to symbolize the essence of an individual in society, for example, human nature, world condition, preserve love, culture, humanity, and care. As Portraits continues to evolve today, many artists are challenging the traditional aspects, some of them are based on surrealism, and others reinvent classical periods by adding splashes of modernism.
