Tamsin Stirling/ Black & White | Shades of meaning

Tamsin Stirling is a Cardiff-based photographer, currently towards the end of a BA Photography at Coleg Gwent, Crosskeys, South Wales. She is interested in how humans interact with their environment, how land and buildings are used and who has access to space in different geographies. An ‘early career’ photographer in her 60s, Tamsin brings to her photography knowledge from her previous work in housing and regeneration and role as a trustee in a number of Wales-based charities. She specialises in documentary landscape projects, using walking and re-walking as an integral part of her practice and is currently making predominantly black and white digital images.
