Tara Harris/ Other Worlds

Tara Harris is a contemporary intuitive artist who paints mystical dreamlike landscapes rooted in memory, time and place. She studied fine art in Newcastle – Upon – Tyne graduating in 1991 with a specialism in print making. After gaining a PGCE in Education in 1993, she championed the importance of creativity in the curriculum - gaining several Arts Council awards.

She has exhibited her work in group shows since 2024, including the Royal Cambrian Academy and the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists. She received an Emerging Woman Artist award from Arts to Hearts Project and is published in their books ‘Artists on the Rise’ and ‘Time and Memory’. A recently commissioned artwork from Solihull Core entitled Surreal Solihull has enabled her to show her work for the first time in a public exhibition.
