Zoe L. Tongue/ The Urban Lens

Zoe L. Tongue is an academic, artist, and photographer based in Leeds in the UK. She previously lived in Sheffield, Durham, Coventry, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, and Perth, Australia, and she is inspired by her experiences of different cities. Zoe has been taking photographs for at least fifteen years, though it is only in the last few that they have started showing her work. Zoe has had their art exhibited at East Street Arts in Leeds and the Old Parcels Office Gallery in Scarborough, and in March 2025, their photograph ‘Disco Time’ was featured in the ‘Print It’ exhibition at The Mill Gallery in Leeds and the exhibition book.
