Tony Miller is an Australian fine-art and documentary photographer whose work explores everyday life, place and human presence. Working primarily in Japan and Vietnam, he photographs environments and communities through an observational approach, concentrating on moments that reveal character without disrupting them. His broader practice encompasses street photography, portraiture and studies of everyday life throughout Asia. His work has been exhibited in Vietnam, and his current long-term project documents Tokyo’s traditional kissaten and the people who continue to sustain their distinctive culture.
