Roberta De Caro is based in London, UK but is originally from Milan, Italy. She graduated in 2019 with an Honours degree at City & Guilds of London Art School, where is was awarded the 2019 Sculpture Prize, twice the Student Initiated Project Prize (2018 and 2019), as well as two travel prizes and a scholarship for an MA in Art & Material Histories, which she completed in 2022. De Caro creates installations, sculptures and works on paper as well as running a socially engaged art practice. In 2022 she received funding from the Arts Council for her project From the Fragment to the Whole where she worked with survivors of domestic abuse to make a collection of artworks from broken glass, as a metaphor for their lived experience. The work was exhibited in July 2022 at Espacio Gallery in London.
